Wanda was a kind woman whose greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother of four and the heart of her home. She created a warm and loving atmosphere and was known for her excellent cooking. She faithfully supported her children, driving them to sports practices, music lessons, or wherever they needed to go.
She was blessed with four children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Music was woven throughout Wanda's life. She grew up with a love of music, playing guitar alongside her father, who was an accomplished violinist. Entirely self-taught, she learned to play both the guitar and the piano and had a beautiful singing voice. She often spoke of those special times making music with her dad, and those memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Wanda and her husband shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. One of the blessings of their life together was that they genuinely enjoyed the same things. Whether watching sports together, listening to music, bowling, playing bridge, or simply spending time side by side, they built a life centered on companionship, love, and shared interests.
Faith was the foundation of Wanda's life. Raised in the small rural town of Aurora, Arkansas, she grew up walking to church, where her lifelong faith first took root. Throughout her life, she loved the Lord and freely shared her faith with family, friends, and even strangers.
Wanda will be remembered for her kindness, her generous heart, and the quiet love she expressed by caring for her family. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
