Adolph Gene Filizetti, 93 of San Jose, CA passed away peacefully in the home he built on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Adolph was born October 26, 1923 in Princeton, Michigan to James and Serafina (Federici) Filizetta. He attended school in Gwinn, before coming out to California.
Adolph was a loving and hardworking man who enjoyed life. He worked in the mines in Michigan, was a plaster contractor, and for over 35 years a Bail Bondsman in San Jose. He was passionate about golf, football (Loved his Raiders), working in his garden, and hunting. He had a joy for life and being around people. His greatest love was his family.
His parents, James and Serafina and his six siblings John, Gena, Julio, Joseph, Gloria, and Mary preceded Adolph in death.
Adolph is survived by his wife Geraldina Filizetti of San Jose: daughters Julie (Bill) Tisnado of Belmont, Sandra Filizetti (Bill Boales) of San Jose; surrogate son Matthew Kracht of Walnut Creek (Melanie) and grandchildren Jonathan and Andrea Boales of San Jose.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday March 14, at 7 pm (visitation starting at 5PM) at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary at 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday March 15, at 10am at the Mortuary. His final resting place will be Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
