Maricela was born November 2, 1956 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Enadina and Francisco Vallejo. Maricela had three brothers (Javier, Hector, and Oscar) and five sisters (Ester, Mindis, Betty, Concha, and Margaret). Maricela and her family moved to the United States in 1967. Maricela attended Sunnyvale High School. Maricela worked throughout Santa Clara County in the electronic industry, but her true passion was being a caregiver to many. Maricela was very involved in the church community at “Our Lady of Peace” as a teacher, volunteer, event coordinator, president of the Spanish mass, and a friend to many.
Maricela leaves behind a loving husband (Arnold), four children (Jorge, Arnold Jr., Francisco, and Stacey), and four grandchildren (Jorge Jr., Jesus, Daniela, and Adelina). Maricela lived in Milpitas for 32 years where she saw all of her children graduate from Zanker Elementary, Rancho Middle School, and Milpitas High School. Maricela lived a life filled with faith, love, and happiness. Maricela’s kind heart, helpful hands, and beautiful smile will always be missed but never forgotten.
