Angelo Frank Sunseri

January 10, 1927February 26, 2018

Angelo was the son of Frank and Mary Sunseri (deceased). He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Mary Jane Marianelli Sunseri, his sister Mary Gloria Rohrig (Bob), and sister-in-law Elaine Marianelli Figone. He was preceeded in death by his brothers Phillip, Anthony, Sam, Dominic, Frank, Tony, Joe, and Naish. He was Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Angelo graduated from San Jose Technical High School, joined the Navy, and served during World War II. He retired from the City of San Jose Public Works Department. Angelo was an accomplished musician. At one time, his wonderful singing voice got him an audition with Lawrence Welk. He played the piano and organ; and the amazing thing was he couldn’t read a note of music. He sang and played by ear. He also enjoyed dancing. He and his wife had many hobbies, including handmade items and toys. They also collected a variety of items such as clowns, dolls, and coins.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday April 24 at 12:30 PM at St. Clare's Chapel at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to the chartity of your choice or St. Justin Community Ministry, 2655 Homestead Road Santa Clara, CA 95051.
