Ann Marie Bright

Ann Marie Bright was born in Washington D.C. on October 16, 1945. She grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with her father, John Blocher, her mother, J. Vivian Blocher, and beloved sisters Mary and Viv. Ann attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and later the University of Maryland where she met her soulmate Carlisle (Rick) Bright. Their marriage was a 55 yearlong love affair. Ann and Rick had 3 children: Richard, Heather, and Christopher. The family moved to California in the 80’s where the children grew up and started their own families. Richard married Candice, Heather married Paul, and Chris married Karin. Ann and Rick were fortunate to be grandparents to six grandchildren: Nicholas, Holly, Luci, Dylan, Ethan, and Lucas. Ann loved spending time with her family, attending art shows with her daughter and sister and visiting different beaches. Her favorites were Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Rio Del Mar, California, and Carmel, California. Ann was a cherished wife, loving mother, and kind grandmother. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
