Ann, as her beloveds called her, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She married her husband Sam Gulizia in 1938 and loved him with all her heart. She enjoyed fifty-seven years of marriage until he passed in 1995. After 25 years apart they are finally reunited in love for eternity. Within a few years of marriage she welcomed three beautiful Children; Alfred, Gerald and Nancy. For a short period while her husband was serving in the military she worked at the cannery in San Jose. She spent the rest of her years as a homemaker, raising her beautiful children and eventually caring for her many grandchildren as well. Many a lively Sunday was spent at Sam and Ann’s eating homemade pizza or spaghetti with her famous gravy. Ann was a prideful Italian whose cooking was envied by all who were lucky enough to taste it. Her favorite things were family, dancing with her husband on Friday nights, cards with friends, BINGO and camping.
Ann is survived by her three children and their spouses, Alfred & Kathie Gulizia, Gerald and Janet Gulizia and Nancy & Leo Cozzo, her grandchildren; Greg Gulizia (deceased), Keri (& Tom) Reece, David (& Sheryl) Gulizia, Joylynn Gulizia (deceased), Jeff (& Karis) Gulizia, Cathie (&Frank) Keeling and Gina (&Craig) Bradley. She is survived also by her many great-grandchildren; Frank Keeling (Army), Connor Keeling (Army), Alexandra Reece (Army), Brooks Reece, Lauren Reece, Tyler Donnelly (Army National Guard), Angelina Gulizia, Brooke Bradley, Nicolas Gulizia, JJ Bradley, Victory Gulizia, Vivienne Gulizia. Ann also had many cousins, nieces and nephews who visited her often and whom she loved dearly.
Ann will be celebrated at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Ave., Santa Clara, 95050 on January 29, 2020 with a viewing from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a rosary service at the 7:00 o’clock hour. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 11:00 am Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Ave., Santa Clara, 95050.
