Billie was born August 22, 1917, in Providence, Rhode Island, and passed away on August 11, 2017, at Pacific Hills Manor in Morgan Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Frank Alves. A proud mother of three, Judy (Larry) Gomes, Frank (Cindy) Alves and Richard (Alice) Alves (son deceased) she was also a loving grandmother of Jake (Kristy) Mendes, Jeff (Debbie) Mendes, Melissa (Jerry) Rocha, Zach (Roz) Alves, Sheri Alves, Rich Alves and Kristy (Jeff) Nelson and a great grandmother of 15.
Billie and Frank Alves, along with Joe and Sarah Alves, were owners of the Alves Brothers Dairy on Old Oakland Road in San Jose. Billie was also a lifetime member of SFV Lodge in Mountain View.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Service, Wednesday 8/23/2017 at 11 am at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N Winchester Blvd. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
