

Betty Ann Hancin (Santiago) was born and raised in the Bay Area. Later in life she moved to Colorado and then Minnesota with her family. She loved animals and not only was a champion for animal rights, but took in rescue animals of all types on her hobby farm. She fiercely loved her family, fashion, interior decorating, gardening, travel, laughing, music and her Puerto Rican culture. She is survived by her husband John, daughter Angelina, son Sal, grandchildren Gabriel, Antonio, Miliana and Cruz, mother Aida, brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her father Jorge and sister Lucy.
She passed suddenly in Minnesota, but always desired to go home. She finally is getting her wish to be home and will be laid to rest in California. She was extremely beloved and will be missed forever. A private funeral will take place at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
