

Blanche Rosendin passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on October 21, 2015 in Los Gatos, CA. She touched many during her lifetime with her vivacious and colorful love for life. Blanche was born in San Jose, CA, daughter of the late Moses Rosendin and Bertha (Pinedo) Rosendin. Moses founded Rosendin Electric, one of the largest electrical contracting firms in the country. She was the cherished sister of Louis (Joanne) and Raymond (Nancy) Rosendin. She is survived by nieces Patti Malone, Debra Butler (Bret), Karen Rosendin, Kathy Rosendin, Cece Robinson (Bill), Kris Rosendin, Julie Melendres (Robert) and Raquel Rosendin; her nephews Mark Rosendin, Michael Rosendin, David Rosendin (Stacey), Gregg Rosendin, Max Rosendin (Natalie) and Blake Rosendin; great-nieces Jeanette Larkin (Seth), Jamie Rosendin, Allison Walewski, Nicole Rosendin, Courtney Chacon, Lexie Rosendin, Carly Kolb, Matisse Melendres, Anna Kolb, Gabriella Rosendin and Isabella Rosendin; great-nephews Ryan Rosendin (Heather), Mark Rosendin, Brandt Chacon, Andrew Chacon, Matthew Rosendin, Christopher Kolb, Gregg Gallegos, Tom Gallegos, Nick Rosendin and David Rosendin Jr. Cherished Tia to Courtney Christensen, Whitney Heu-Weller and Dan Gallegos. Blanca was predeceased by her loving sister-in-law Jeanette Rosendin. It has been said that everyone should have a “Tia Blanca”; she will be missed by so many. Blanche graduated from Notre Dame High School, and attended San Jose State University. She embarked on a variety of jobs that took her to different locales of the state, before returning to her home city of San Jose. She loved to travel, and her family enjoyed her company when traveling throughout the states and Europe. Her love for dancing was legendary, and she was oftentimes the last on the dance floor. She adored her extended family, and particularly loved talking to her nieces and nephews about the particulars of their lives. The family would like to thank Blanca’s caregivers at The Meadows in Los Gatos. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6-9pm, with Rosary at 7:30pm, at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:30am, St. Christopher Parish, 1576 Curtner Ave., San Jose. Feel free to embrace Blanca’s love for color in whatever you wear! Private burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
