I know this is so late but I dearly loved my Uncle Chickie. Joe & I moved around so much we lost contact with so much family including Junior and Kevin. So to all you wonderful cousins from both Uncle Chickie and Uncle Johnnie Heidi loves you all and thinks about you often here in Yuma, Az

I agree, Chick did like everyone and respected them.  Thank you kind sir for your sense of humor, your twinkle in your eye and for helping corral all the kids on the block - they are better for your influence and love.  Rest in peace.

Your dad was like a second father to me.  I was lucky to be raised by two sets of awesome parents.  He always had a twinkle in his eye and that SE grin on his face.  I have so many fond memories of him.  Taking us EVERYWHERE and not batting an eye as we slid down the back seat of the Rambler as we passed the cute boys on the way to school. He is loved and will be missed.

I remember Chick as a kind and funny man. He always welcomed me when I went to the house. We lived around the block from the Strunk family when we were younger. I went to school with David. Ronald and my brother were connected at the hip most of the time and I was usually running over there to beat up my brother and Ronald for something they did at my house. Somehow Chick would make be feel like it was OK to beat them up but at the same time he would 'calm' me out of it. This was a LONG time ago. Rest in peace Chick! You will be missed! You knew me as Kelli Wionowsky =)

Uncle 'Chickey' was my favorite uncle growing up.  Children always know when they are genuinely liked or if they are simply being tolerated.  Uncle Chick genuinely liked us, and that meant so much to me as a child.  His perpetually smiley eyes always danced with a kind of inner amusement that made him fun to be with.  He was funny, he was fun, and he will always remain dear to my heart.
