Claire Bernadina Heimgartner entered into eternal rest in Saratoga, California on July 6, 2015. She was born to Norbert, Sr. and Imogene Heimgartner on September 1, 1933, in Santa Clara, California. Claire had a loving, generous spirit, and was always there for her family and friends. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews, traveling, and her pet dogs.
Claire graduated from Boulder Creek High School, in Boulder Creek, California. Following high school, she began her 44-year career with Agnew State Hospital working in the Trust Office. During this time she was an active member of CSEA serving on the board of directors of the local chapter. She remained active well into her retirement from state service. She also spent many years teaching CCD in Alviso, where she made many life long friends.
Claire was a loving sister to her brothers Norbert, Jr. (deceased) and Robert, of Florida, and to her sister Imogene "Sue" Rianda, of Campbell. She will also be greatly missed by her nine nieces, two nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
