After losing her battle with cancer, Connie Sardinha passed away peacefully with family by her side in Santa Clara on March 25, 2012. She was born and raised in Madeira Island, Portugal. Later immigrated to Venezuela then to Santa Clara, California where she lived for the past 36 years. She was the wife of the late Manuel Sardinha. She loved to help people in need. Would always like to give rather than receive. Took care of stray cats for over 20 years feeding them in different locations every night. Cats were her passion. She will be missed by her family and friends in Venezuela, Chilli, Madeira, Spain and California.
