Dennis was born to Norman G. Kuch and Reba Huckins in Los Angeles, and moved to San Jose at the age of seven. From there he would spend time with his Mom in San Jose and Dad in La Crecenta, CA. While is Southern California, he would spend time with his father and brothers at New Port Beach enjoying the ocean and surfing with his family.

Dennis graduated from Willow Glen High School in San Jose in 1957. Afterwards, he served two years in the US Marine Corp. Shortly after the Marines, he lived with his grandmother, and during this time met Carolyn Popovich. They married on September 10, 1961. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Dennis and Carolyn had three children: Denice Kuch Jordan, Jeff Kuch and Greg Kuch.

Dennis is survived by his wife Carolyn and their three children; five grandchildren: Jimmy Jordan, Erin Jordan, Ian Jordan, Jake Kuch and Samantha Kuch; and his brothers Norman Kuch Jr and Robert Kuch and their families.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, camping, skiing, flying, golf and serving as Scout Master in Cub Scouts.

He loved going out to eat with his family-especially going to breakfast with his grandchildren.

He loved attending his children’s events: figure skating, dancing, baseball, football, hockey and rugby. When at all possible, he never missed a game. He enjoyed even more attending his grandchildren’s music concerts, band events, and baseball and hockey games.

A man anyone would be proud to call husband, dad, friend and especially Papa.

He is loved and will be missed by all.

We Love You Rest in Peace

Hello Dad, Today we all gathered in your remembrance to celebrate the wonderful life you lead. Saying goodbye was not easy but with all your friends and loved ones there to share in the sorrow and remembrance of what a wonderful man you were made it a bit easier. I’m grateful for being born into this family and for having you as a father. I have been truly blessed and will miss you very much. I have so many great memories of going to sharks and A’s games and well as so many great lunches and breakfasts out together . I also loved looking up in the stands and my football and rugby games and seeing you there watch. I will carry on the tradition of your Sour Cream Potatoes each Thanksgiving. Holidays and family gatherings won’t be the same but I know you will be there with us and we will share memories of you each time we get together. RIP Dad and I will see you on the other side.

Love your Son,

Greg
