Surrounded by family she passed from this life to the next very peacefully. Widow of Manuel A. Rodrigues, mother to Nadine Whitmore, Edna Rodrigues, Sylvia Rodrigues, two sons, Edward Moniz (Bonnie) and Geno Rodrigues, both deceased. She also leaves six grandchildren, Stacie Moniz, Stephen Moniz (Claire), Julie Timmerman, Chris Timmerman (Charlotte), Christie Williams (Mark), and Jeff Williams (Jennifer). She was loved by eight great-grandchildren, Cole Moniz, Luke Moniz, Kylie Timmerman, Sarah Timmerman, Dalton Timmerman, Myles Williams, Riley Williams, and Zoey Williams. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Himan. Her younger brother, Tony Himan (Veronica) is deceased. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss her as well. Dolores was born in Kaneohe, Oahu to Joseph and Gloria Himan and came to California in 1942. She was employed for many years by the Merry Mart before being employed by Owens-Corning Fiberglas until she retired in 1986. She had been an active member of the Spanish Heritage Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion, Young Ladies Institute (YLI) of St. Clare Parish, and the Portuguese-American Club. Visitation Tues. 8-30, 3pm, and a Vigil at 7pm, at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Funeral to be held, Weds. 10am 8-31 at St. Clare Parish, 941 Lexington St, Santa Clara.
