Dorothy Ellen Sol

She was a devoted wife for 61 years to the late Frank A. Sol. Loving mother to Bonnie Johnson and James Sol and his wife Susan and family. Grandmother to James Johnson, Melissa Malavey, Jason & Ronda Sol, Wendy Sol and Aimee Sol. Great-Grandmother to Breanna Johnson, Kadin & Hunter Malavey, William & Lily Sol-Garcia and Alex & Andrew Sol.

Dorothy was a devout parishioner at St. Justin Parish, active in the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary along with her work in Real Estate during her lifetime. She will be an enduring presence to all her family and friends because of her loving, caring, giving and compassionate spirit. She was loved and adored by all who knew her. Like an Angel from afar…She has guided us and guarded us and given us inspiration.

GRANDMOTHER… Thank God for you. Grandmother, your smile so sweet, your words of cheer, the love you gave me, whether far or near. You shared all my joys, my sorrows too. Dear Grandmother, Thank God for you!

All who knew her are invited to a public visitation on Wednesday March 3, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary Vigil at 7:30pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be Thursday March 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St Justin Church, 2655 Homestead Rd., Santa Clara CA 95051. Entombment will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery in Santa Clara. After, please join her family and friends for a reception at the Maridon Room Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary.
