Elsie Carvalho Andrade Rimple, after a full and beautiful life, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at rhe age of 90. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Elsie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness, leaving a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

She was born in Massachusetts and moved to Santa Clara California as a young child. She worked for Underwriters Laboratory for 10 years. She was married to John "Jack" Andrade, with whom she shared a deep and enduring love. Elsie was a beautiful soul and was lucky to experience two great loves in her life. When she met her second husband Kevin Rimple, they moved to Discovery Bay, CA and lived there for 32 years before eventually moving closer to family in Sparks, NV last year. Their bond was a cornerstone of her life, and they built a strong, loving partnership that lasted throughout the years.

Elsie enjoyed spending times with friends and family, reading, enjoying live music, a cup of coffee and her sweet treats, as well as spending time at different casinos with her husband. Elsie was devoted to God and placed her trust in Saint Anthony to find guidance, strength, and comfort. 

Elsie was preceeded in death by her parents Eugene and Mary Carvalho, her first husband John Andrade, and all of her siblings. 

Elsie is survived by her husband Kevin Rimple, her cherished and beloved daughter Kathy Bremer, her daughter Courtney DeRouin (Chester), her grandchildren Brent Moniz (Kayla), Brittany Bremer, and Madeline and Caden DeRouin.

A beacon of love and grace, Elsie touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her long life, filled with family, faith, and friendship, was a true reflection of the love she gave and received.

Services will be held for Elsie J. Rimple on Thursday, February 6th at 11am at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery Chapel, on Winchester Blvd.
