Elsie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 101. Elsie grew up in Berkeley. At 19 she met the love of her life Ted Tressler. Together they built a successful business, Tressler Excavation. Elsie treasured her family, loved to travel and dancing. Elsie had a zest for life and always had a smile with a compliment. Her motto was “take a good time with you and you’ll have a good time”. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Amy Bettilyon, brothers Charles, Amil, sister Glady, grandson James Perry and husband Ted. Elsie is survived by her loving daughter Elsie Perry, grandchildren Carlene Bloodworth, Renee Avila, and Ken Perry. Great grandchildren Luke Teleske, Cristina Renteria, Melissa Tilton, Alicia Noriega, Arath Avila, Jason Perry and Great great grandchildren Trinity, Han, John, Luke and Aria. The family would like to express gratitude to Elsie’s loving caregiver, Finau Fakalia. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 12PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara.
