Francisco Pereira was born in Sao Miguel, Azores. He moved to America with his wife and son in 1967. They lived in Boston with family. They then moved to Santa Clara, California and they had their daughter. He worked at Neto Sausage company for 35 years while owning his own landscaping company for 32 years. Francisco was married 59 years. He loved family and friends deeply. He loved to go fishing, camping and to travel. He loved his garden and was very proud of it. He would grow his own plants from seeds. He loved watching sports. He was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He also loved football. Francisco loved America and was proud to become A citizen in 1995. But he never forgot his homeland. He went back 3 times and would say I have Saudades for Sao Miguel. He taught his family hard work, the value of family and the love for God. He always wanted to help everyone in life and taught his family that lesson too.
