Passed away peacefully on February 17 at the age of 87. Gina was born in Algoma, Oregon on November 7, 1925 to Bortolo and Emilia Manprin. Gina is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Edmund Nunes, and their children, Gail Ungurean, George Delgado (Karen), and Gary Nunes. She is pre-deceased by daughter Joyce Blackburn. She leaves 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings, Al Manprin and Gemma Corliss. Gina will lovingly be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, fondness and enjoyment of food and cooking, value of family traditions, and most importantly, her love of God. Family and friends are invited to the Visitation Sunday, 2/24/13 from 5-9PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara. Mass will be held on Monday 2/25/13 at 11AM at Queen of Apostles Church, 4911 Moorpark Ave. San Jose. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
