Guadalupe Perez, of San Jose, CA, passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2019 at the age of 78 with his family by his side.

He was a devoted husband to his wife Victoria for over 50 years. He was a loving father to Cesar, Marla, Erica and Rolando Perez( who precedes him in death.) Adoring Grandfather to Cynthia and Christian Perez as well as great-grandfather to Adrian and Maliah Quaresma.

He cared with a passion about his family, unlike anything we have ever seen. We know our dad is looking down right now on us, and we truly believe he knows just how loved he really was. Lupillo was honorable, kind, more than fair, sweet, charismatic, gentle, humble, and so loving and giving. He always greeted you with a smile. He worked hard at everything he put his hands on and created magic. He touched and helped so many. Lupillo was an incredible man. He loved life and he loved us, his family so much. He was greatness and he will be missed terribly. We loved the time we spent with our Lupillo whether it was family vacations, a day at the flea market, casinos or just simply sitting down enjoying a meal together. He taught us so many lessons in life. We are forever grateful for the life and love he provided for us. It is sad that he is gone, but we know he is no longer in pain, and reunited with his muchachito Rolandito in heaven. Our Lupillo was simply the greatest man we have ever known. He will always be our hero. Thank you Lupillo.

I worked with Marla and knew of her love for her entire family and I know all will be desolate at the loss of such a lovely man, who is held so dear by all.

We are with you in spirit Marla and send loving thoughts to you all during this heart breaking time. Take comfort from each other.

love

There are many kind words to describe my tío Lupe. I simply thank God for such an amazing person I got to know. I am very grateful to my tíos and primos for letting me live at their home for such a long time. I have many memories of my tío treating me like a daughter. Some of my greatest memories is that He was extra nice to me when I was sad and his advice was always a positive one. He always believed in me in that I could do good in this country....and he said it to me many times. He would also drive me to school, he would drive me to work, he would fix my car, etc.
