Ian Fernandes, where can I start about this boy well.. I first met him in Elementary school at Baker we didn’t hang around each other often except when we were in dictionary dungeon together on fun Friday’s or playing on the black top with all the other kids. We then continued to be friends throughout Moreland Middle School to Prospect High school even though we weren’t really as close as we use to be. But once I came to Boynton and I saw Ian again it was like everything was back to normal. He will be greatly missed in my book and I’ll cherish every memory I have of him. 

I am really going to miss you  Ian and I love you very much. I am thankful that I had you in my life and I’m left with all the amazing memories we did together. Always in my heart. ❤️

Ian was the first friend I made at boynton I’ll never forget the time we shared and the jokes we cracked no one else will understand the “Steel Ghibli” jokes and that really hurts me. I’ll also never forget the time he told me his past struggles, I opened up to him and told him mine something I rarely do to anyone but I really trusted him and felt we could both move forward and leave those struggles in the past. Farewell Ian I’ll miss you.

Oh Sara,
I can't imagine how you feel. I remember the first time I saw Ian. I was so in awe at his precious little face and tiny hands. Your sisters and mom were there and they were so smitten and had so much love for him. Ian was a great addition to your amazing family, my second family as a child. 
Then they put on the video of you giving birth. I remember it so clearly because 1. It terrified me and 2. I wept. I wept seeing how painful it was for you and hearing your cries.
I weep for you and your family now as the joy of welcoming your first child, the first grandson and nephew has now become sorrow at losing him. 
Your family is amazing and have always been a strength to others in their time of need. While you're all hurting, just remember to love one another. This is by far,  the most difficult trial you have faced together. 
The great thing about your family always being there for one another and always doing things together is that hundreds of memories have been made. There is an abundance of pictures of Ian smiling with Mason, his cousins, aunts, uncles and your Mom and Harry butts, with those pictures come stories that cannot be erased and will be shared over and over ... They never get old. 
You will get new stories as time goes by. Stories someone forgot to share until something reminds him/her of Ian, stories you forgot about that will make you laugh and then cry and laugh again.
Keep doing things with your family, keep making memories, keep each other close because they will be there in a month, a year, two years down the road when you need to cry. They will be the ones to understand and comfort and cry with you and find a way to strengthen you through their love and knowledge of Ian.
Your mom made a picture album for me from pictures taken at my wedding reception. There is a section of pictures that are blurry and random with a sticky note that says, "Ian took these pictures." 
He was so so so loved.

My heart hurts for the Anderson family. While I only met Ian once, I was instantly warmed by his smile. He reminded me of his mom when she was younger. 
Sara, it will hurt, your heart will ache, you will cry and cry. Eventually the tears will lessen but will always come. Your love for him will never go away.  The days of feeling like you're in the deepest of despair will also become fewer, easier and more manageable.
Your family has been a huge part of mine and my children's lives. The kids still laugh and talk about the memories they have from growing up with you all.  Ian was blessed to be in such an amazing family. Your parents, brother and sisters loved him instantly. 
To be part of the Anderson family means unconditional love, support and laughter from one another no matter how trying things become.  I have no doubts Ian felt that love and thrived because of it.
Lean on each other, continue to love one another and have patience as you all work through your grief  the best way you  can( which will be different for each of you).
I'm am sorry for your loss, sorry that I am unable to be there, to hug you and your family but know you are all loved.

I’m one of Ians best friends from middle school. My favorite memory is when we finally saw eachother again after 2 years at McDonalds while I was working drive thru. Me Nd him didn’t believe we seen eachother until we both seen eachother again at boynton high school, and from that day we hung out Nd I have this picture of us from middle w the boys that I will always have Nd never forget. Will never forget my brotha, my right hand man. Fly High “Barrinas”🖤 

I’ll never forget the time Ian took me with him to buy Christmas gifts for his family, that moment really showed me what a kind and caring person he was. My heart goes out to everyone that got to be a part of his life. 

One fond memory was when Ian graduated 8th grade. I was extremely proud of him. I made him a lei and was nervous if he was going to like it or even wear it because Ian was so fashionable. First surprise, he put it on and wore it which truly warmed my heart. Second surprise, he took a picture with me smiling because at one point I would  have to sneak one to get one. Ian you are the son I always wanted but didn’t have. I miss you and will love you forever.❤️
