James and his family eventually moved to Hong Kong where he worked at the Hong Kong Airport on security and X-ray machines.
He immigrated to the US in 1976 with his wife and two children carrying only a few suitcases and built a life for his family in New Jersey through his extraordinary hard work.
He worked as a field service engineer servicing X-ray machines into his seventies before retiring at Glenbrook Technologies.
In retirement, he moved with his wife to California in 2010 to be closer to their children.
He is known for his delicious homemade Chinese dumplings. He enjoyed gardening and loved watching sports and having pizza.
James is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children, Marie and Larry; his brother, Yanshen; his sister, Ruiyun; and many nieces and nephews.
