James Trifilo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 89. James was loving husband of 66 years to Josephine Lonero Trifilo. Loving father to James Trifilo and wife Marlene, and Geri Bettencourt and husband John. Cherished grandfather of Sheri Hagoes (Phil), Tina Keller (Dan), Melanie Trifilo, and Jennifer Bettencourt. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Carmen, Joe, Tony Fred, sister Mary, brother-in-law Frank and sister-inlaw Freda. James was a proud veteran of WWII and was stationed as a medic in Florida . He retired after 35 years from Markovits and Fox where he worked as a crane operator/foreman. He enjoyed barbequing for family gatherings, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family. Family and friends are invited to Visitation Friday, April 23, 2010 from 4 to 9pm and to Funeral Service Saturday, April 24 at 11:00am both at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester, Santa Clara, CA. .
