J.D. DeSpain

JD DeSpain was born in Marie Ark. In 1927; and grew up in Arkansas Picken cotton. He married Bevethel Goodwin in 1948. They had four children; Anthia, JD Jr, Marsha Ann, and Donna Lynn. They moved to California in 1952. JD worked at Douglas Aircraft as a mechanic for many years. He then bought a gas station with his father-in-law. He pumped gas and soon became an auto mechanic.

He leaves behind two of his daughters, his grandchildren: Anthia and her children, Johnleah,Anthia Charlean, Ignacio Jr, and Gildardo. JD's boys: JD III, Johnathan, and Creg. Marsha's son Christopher and Donna's children, Bruce and Lynnette. He also left behind many great-grandchildren: JD Salvador,Recardo, Jessica, Juan, Justin, Joseph, Junior, Erik, Marya, Ariana, Donaven, Danny, Ryan, Kasandra, Ashley, Zack, Aubrey, Anthony, Marquez, Christian, Trienedad, Bruce Jr, Bryson, Isabella, and Titus. Would you believe he had 15 Great-Great Grandchildren? After losing his wife in 1997 he moved to Ohio to be with his son JD Jr, his wife Ilean and their children. He had a very fulfilling life. Then is when he found Jesus as his personal savier. He then spent the rest of his days walking with The Lord. Family meant everything to JD. Every one of them was very special to him. He has now left us to be with the Lord and the rest of his family. He will be greeted in heaven by his loving wife Bevethel, his son JD Jr, his daughter Marsha, his grand- daughter Patsy Lou, her son Cody and JD's grandson Arturo. JD has been ready for when The Lord was ready to call him home. Which The Lord did Monday night February 4, 2013. He will be dearly missed. He may be gone but will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. May you rest in peace. Family and friends are invited to visit from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10th at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd. in Santa Clara; where the Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 11th. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.
