Jerry Ann Fugel (aka “Aunty”), 72, of Santa Clara passed away peacefully on October 19th, 2021. Jerry was born and grew up in Santa Clara, a town she loved and never left. She worked at AMI for 19 1/2 years before moving on to work at the City of Mountain View for the remainder of her career. Jerry enjoyed her co-workers and time there and became the department party planner. Usually, providing the cakes or desserts she loved to make. She enjoyed traveling and was always ready for a trip to Las Vegas, Hawaii or Disneyland. After retirement, when not spending time with family, she could usually be found at the Senior Center playing bingo or dominos and hanging out with her friends. “Aunty” will be dearly missed and always remembered by her beloved family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor. We request all of Jerry’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her life at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary Reception Hall, 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, on December 4, 2021 from 1pm - 4pm. Casual Dress is a must! If you would like to honor her in some way, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter. She would like that.
