It's been 1 year since you left  us and there are memories we still have to remind us of you. Every time we walk in the house and see the phone blinking Buds says Uncle Jack & I'll say no more Uncle Jack. He's in heaven telling his stories and loving on Aunt Celia & telling them all  about the  blessing that he witnessed, like how their grandkids have grown  Their new grandson & great- grandson...I know there is no complaints or unforgiveness. I know you're so happy & only Love is there..  RIP Uncle Jack we will all see you when it's our time but until then, you keep those stories alive. Love & miss you Bud & Cathie

Uncle Jack, I can't believe it's been a year! Where has the time gone!! I'll always remember our LONG conversations about, well, anything. I miss how it was important to you to make sure we knew how important saving money was. I miss some of your great cooking as well...Aunt Jeanie was spectacular, but we all knew you could hold your own in the kitchen too! I thank God that He allowed me one last time to see you and pray with you before you passed. I'm sure where you are is much better than here. See you all on the other side...Wish I could have one last LONG conversation, especially the one we probably would have had when the government shut down...LOL...

My Dearest Dad,  

Gosh where to start...You big brat, to the end you had it your way....There is so much I will miss about you.  Thursday just before you went home to be with Mom we were at the Dr's and you introduced me to the staff so proudly in which they already knew me but you had forgot.  Then you proceeded to tell them how I got my name.  Marlona...so special, I love our story and I love my name.  

You drove me absolutely crazy but never once did my love for you waiver.  NOT even an ounce.  You would always say, you are still my little girl and that is how I feel right now, crying daily because my Daddy is gone.  Since Mom's death, you represented both Mom and Dad for me.  I am trying to hang on here Dad but I keep loosing it.  There is such a hole in my heart. Dad, you taught me so many lessons, you taught me to fight for what you believe in, work hard, earn an honest living, have integrity and most of all, love your family.  

I feel so blessed to have had such loving parents that would do anything for us if we needed.  It was you who taught me how to save and invest money.  I remember making 35 cents a week for allowance.  You said, save the quarter, spend the dime.  To this day, I still save the quarter and spend the dime and because of this very valuable lesson, I have had a financially blessed life.  

On that same day of the Dr's I took you to lunch to show you what real Chinese food is all about.  I felt pain and sadness because I wanted to share so much with you but because of that growth you said was in your ear which was really you going death made it so difficult to communicate with you.  I am so sad for that.  I will carry the good times in my heart and remember you are in a much better place and I am sure you are already driving Mom crazy.  To Paul, you make me cry with your beautiful words about Dad.  Jenee' I know you are in pain but always remember you were the light of Papa's eye as was all his grandchildren.  It is a true gift to me when I read all the beautiful comments to my Dad.  Thank you everyone for taking the time to do this.  It brings a huge smile to my heart.  To you my Daddy....I can't wait till you "talk at me later".. With a full heart,  Your Marlona....xxoo

While outside one day, a man drives into our driveway and gets out, I was immediately struck by his appearance. He had a 50 something Impala or Bel Air, hell I was a kid, it was a big red car, but what stuck in my mind was a 49er sticker on the car. Later I was in attendance when he became a member of our family. For over 50 years I loved and respected this man.
You only get a few uncles in your life, and I've been blessed with a few good ones.
Uncle Jack worked hard to raise his family. How did he do? I just have to look to my cousins. GOOD JOB UNK !!!

Rafael and I will miss Jack.  He was good at telling the most interesting stories.  And most helpful to keep us informed of senior savings everywhere! Our heartfelt condolences to you girls and family.

I remember sitting next to Jack for hours while he taugh me how to properly peel cactus stalks for the Christmas Gardoni. Peeling the stalks was hard work, but talking with Jack and sharing in the family tradition was a true delight. That was a really nice day.

Jack, we will see you again.  I am so glad that Eddie and Sheryl met up in life because that union brought me to the Sparaco family.  You and Jeannie did one heck of a job raising wonderful kids. "Ya done good, Jack"  Until next time....Lia Soetje

I remember one day Jeannie and you girls were visiting us in Pittsburg and you girls were giggling and talking about how handsome your Dad was and then you showed me a picture.  I never forgot that.  Your Dad was always so sweet to me.  He always took the time to talk to me.  I felt so important to him.  I think that is such a wonderful quality, to make someone feel important.  He always acknowledged me.  But, his kindness and generosity was so felt.  My car broke down and I had no wheels and he offered to let me use his car.  I had that car for weeks and it was a life saver for me.  I love you Jack, and I know you are having good times with my Dad and all of our family who have passed.

You & your families will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time but remember the good times you had with your dad and cherish them - I remember working on the produce truck during the summers.  Your dad was a very nice person (as nice as he could be to teenagers).

Uncle Jack, we will truly miss your long phone calls & messages. It already seems so quite. I know you are with all of our family that had the pleasure to enter the heavenly gates before us. Bud & I love you and know you are home now.  Rest In Peace now until we me again. God Bless You??

Dad, I loved you more than you could know. I wanted to keep you safe and healthy like you did to me as a child. You taught me how to fish, how to charge a car battery, put chains on tires, and "close the damn doors, cuz we don't live in a barn".  You were there whenever I needed help and I will miss how you would sing silly songs to Kiley and Taylor and make them laugh or how you would sneak them "goodies" when you thought I wasn't looking. I'm happy you made it HOME.."ok bye-bye" "talk at you later" your loving daughter Sheryl.

Jack the wife and I will miss you dearly,I wish we could have been closer but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
