Joseph Thomas Sturdevant passed away peacefully on January 30, 2018. During his 88 years, he touched many lives with his wisdom and built many friendships through his 40 plus year membership with AA. He loved spending time playing music with his family and friends. He also enjoyed jogging, volunteering in his community and camping. Joe was born to Robert Perkins and Thelma Barnes in Longview, Texas. Following graduation, he served in the Marines during the Korean War. Joe worked for Lockheed Martin for over 15 years as an engineer and inventor. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, 2 sons Joe and Rod Sturdevant and 3 stepsons Brad, Scott and Dan Martin, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his many family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Wed., February 7, 2018 at 11AM with Funeral Service beginning at 1PM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Interment to be held privately.
