Born in San Jose, a longtime resident of Los Gatos, Joe was predeceased in death by his parents (Dominick and Mary Ventimiglia of Campofelice, Sicily), brother (Simon), sisters (Ann Schifano and Marion McCraney), and granddaughter (Rachel). Joe was survived by his loving wife (Judy), his children (Joe, Leanna, Tony and Jason), brother (Larry), sister (Lena Parlato), and loving grandchildren (Zach, Morgan, Brendan, Nicole, Vlad, and Rowan). “God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best”. A former member of the United States Marine Corp., Joe was also past Grand Regent of the Royal Arcanum and current member of the Santa Clara County Corvette Club. Joe will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Pathways Hospice. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16th from 5-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N.
