Josie passed away after living 90 vibrant years. She was born in Mountainair, New Mexico, to Carlos and Lucia Jaimez, along with seven brothers and sisters. A loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, Josie will be remembered as the Matriarch of her family. She was known for being a kind and generous woman, who's door was always open for anyone who needed help or a friendly word. She loved to dance and listen to Mariachi music. Her highly sought after tamales, were a Christmas tradition that centered on bringing family and friends together. Josie is survived by her son Sal and his wife Jane Urtiaga; grandchildren Richard, Rachel and Andrew; sisters, Andrea, Jenny and Nena; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Josie is reunited in heaven with her husband Seledon and daughter Odelia. Visitation Mon., Mar. 11, at 6 to 9pm, Rosary at 7pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd. Funeral Mass Tues. Mar. 12, at 11am at St. John Vianney Cath. Church, 4600 Hyland Ave. in San Jose.
