Juan Manuel Najar Jr.

Juan Manuel Najar, Jr., age 60 passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. He was just shy of is 61st birthday. Born on August 18, 1965, in San Jose, California at Kaiser Santa Clara Hospital. Juan has resided in San Jose, California all his life until his passing.

Juan was preceded in death by his loving wife Kimberly Najar; Parents Barbara and Juan M. (Jack) Najar, Sr. He is survived by his loving daughter Amanda Burlison, Nina (God-mother) Irene Flores; Auntie Jacque and Uncle John Skyberg, and nephew Theodore (Theo) and Jerricka Lanford. Beloved Nino (God-father) to Krysten Lanford, and Guillermo (Memo) Esparza and Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Juan met the love of his life Kim in1985, they married on June 12, 1999. They were married for 22 years, and where together for 36 years until her death in 2021.

Juan worked in building maintenance. He was employed to perform all kinds of building maintenance work for several companies and schools. He enjoyed working on cars, especially Volks Wagons. He loved the Miami Dolphins, A’s and San Jose Sharks. He loved the Peanuts characters, especially Snoopy. He loved all music and was a talented singer and played a variety of instruments that he learned on his own. Juan was in a band as a Singer and Drummer with his good friend Steve. One of the bands was called Liquid Fish.

In 2019, Juan and Kim became members of the Coast Side Armada Harley Club “The Pirate Crew” and was looking forward to many more runs with their new extended biker family. Juan loved his Harley and riding. But without Kim, Juan couldn’t bring himself to ride with them anymore it was too hard for him.

Juan was an amazing, husband, friend and family member who left a lasting impression on everyone who he met and came in contact with. He will be remembered for his caring heart, big smile, contagious laugh, stubbornness, his teasing, sense of humor, the stories he told and the music. When he loved, he loved with his whole heart.

Juan will be truly missed and will be truly irreplaceable in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be from 11:00 am, Saturday, September 12, 2026, Lima Family Santa Clara 466 N. Winchester Blvd. A celebration of life reception will be located at the building adjacent to the Chapel at the funeral home. Immediately following the services. Interment will be held at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery at a later date.
