Kathleen Senner

Born in San Jose to Lawrence and Isabelle (Capurso) Gregory. Kathy lived her entire life in San Jose. Kathy went to Saint Joseph’s grammar school, Notre Dame high School and had a lengthy career at Bank of America where she developed many lifelong friendships. Original Joe’s restaurant was among one of her favorite spots for a lunch break. One of the greatest joys of her life was the birth of her only child, Christine. Kathy and her 3 siblings remained in San Jose- raising their children in close proximity. The eight cousins grew up together and gathered at least once a week for dinner at Grandma Isabelle’s house. Kathy was very involved in all of her nieces’ and nephews’ school and sports activities. To say that Kathy cherished her extended family would be an understatement. In retirement, Kathy tended to her garden which she loved. But the true highlight of Kathy’s life was being a grandmother (Mimi) to her three precious grandchildren. Much of her time later in life was spent doting over (and spoiling) her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were everything to her. And they adored her in equal measure.

Kathy was preceded in death by her ex-husband Ronald Senner. She is survived by her daughter Christine, son-in-law Joe Grady and grandchildren Patrick, Connor and Ella. Also, siblings Sandra Whitwell, Brian Gregory, Laurie Gray, extended family and many friends. A funeral mass will be held July 15 at 11:00am at Saint Martin of Tour’s church in San Jose followed by a reception.
