Kathy, 68, passed away peacefully in her home of natural causes. She was born to the late Attilio and Lillian Sartoris on March 10, 1945 in San Jose, CA. She received her Bachelors' degree from San Jose State University and was a teacher for 38 years at Kathryn Hughes School in Santa Clara Unified School District. She married her high school sweetheart, the late James, in 1970 and raised two children. Known as "Nana", she loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Mejia (Sean); son, David; grandchildren, Marissa and Adam; brother-in-law Michael; nieces and nephew. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 5-9pm with Rosary at 7pm at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2pm at St. Julie's Church. Interment will be private.
