Ken has been a caring and thoughtful senior colleague, and his kindness will always be remembered by everyone who worked with him. He sent a simple email out of the blue to ask how I was doing, and even bought a gift for my newborn baby from all the way across the ocean. I am deeply saddened to hear about his passing.   My condolences to your family, and may you find peace and strength during this time of sorrow.

I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Ken. He was a mentor who guided me, believed in me, and helped shape my career. I will always be grateful for his guidance, patience, and the trust he placed in me.

One memory that will always remain close to my heart is how warmly he welcomed me when I first visited the US. He was always there as a fatherly figure whenever I needed help during my time there, making me feel at home even when I was far away from home. His kindness and support may have seemed like a small gesture, but to me, it meant a great deal, and I have never forgotten it.

Beyond work, I will always remember the guidance he gave me, not just in my career but also in life, especially during the years when I reported directly to him. Thank you for the guidance.

We first met Kenneth over four decades ago at his in-laws’ home in Hong Kong, and we’re still struggling to believe he’s gone at just 67. He’ll always be remembered as friendly, kind, and caring. That impression never changed.

Kenneth and Jenny built such a beautiful family together. We loved getting their yearly greetings with news and photos. It felt like catching up with old friends.

We still recall their visit to Melbourne some twenty years ago, a brief but very warm sharing of life stories together.

We are holding your family close to our hearts, especially Jenny and Elise. Kenneth’s kindness will stay with us forever.

It is difficult to put into words how much you will be missed.

You were one of the many people who made me feel welcomed and included during my time in the US. As a manager, you were fiercely protective of your engineers and always had our backs. Beyond work, you were a fatherly figure, a true gentleman, and a dear friend.

One memory that always makes me smile is how you carefully cut the bok choy into smaller, bite-sized pieces so I could eat it "like a lady." It was such a simple gesture, yet it perfectly reflected the thoughtful, caring person you were.

I will miss the countless moments of bickering, gossiping, and laughing together with everyone who sat along our aisle. What seemed like ordinary moments then have become some of my most treasured memories now.

I worked with Ken for many years.
He was very good at his job and was easy to work with.
He had a kind spirit and was calm when dealing with all the daily stress that comes with working in semiconductors.
I remember the day after 911 Ken organized a meeting on the Altera front lawn to reflect on the tragedy. I knew then that Ken had a lot of empathy for people.
There wasn’t a plane in the sky on that day.
It saddens me to hear about Ken.
