With deep sadness we share the passing of Larry on Monday. Larry was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine; devoted children, Michael, Marla, and Jackie (Allen); grandchildren, Chad (Jessica), Elizabeth, Jackson, and great-grandson Lucas. Larry was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After graduation Larry proudly served in the USMC during the Korean War. He enjoyed a 42 year career as Technical Writer for Ford Aerospace/Loral. During his life he volunteered with the Boys Scouts of America and served as a Troop Leader and District Commissioner. He gave 34 years of active service with the American Legion and 40 and 8 where he served in many local, state, and national offices. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service on Sunday, August 25th at 3 pm at the American Legion Post #419, 958 Homestead Rd, Santa Clara. The family is requesting donations be made to the American Legion Post #419.
