Linda was born in Brownwood, Texas on September 5, 1937 to Moses and Amalia Valadez. Her father, the foundation of the family and a member of Local 679 of Cannery Workers Union, and loving mother, brought the family to California in the early 1950’s. Linda grew up in Sunnyvale with her brother, Rito (deceased) and sister, Mary.
After caring for her three children, Linda began her career as a Rapid Transit driver. She loved dancing, singing, music, and coastal drives to the ocean.
She is survived by her sister Mary, her three children, Veronica, Henry Jr., and Mario, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
