Lucy Patricia Duran

Lucy Patricia Duran, age 56, passed away at her home in Santa Clara, surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was born on June 2, 1959, in Oakland, California to Jose & Nadine (Martinez) Duran. She was a 1978 graduate of Wilcox High School. She worked as a retail manager with Mervyn’s Department Store, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems and customer service skills. Lucy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; movies & lunch with friends, traveling to visit family, swimming at the Tiffany Center and spending time with those she loved. Lucy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way with her beautiful smile and encouraging words. Lucy is survived by her son, Paul (Paula), sisters, Theresa & Veronica, Father, Jose, Grandmother, Lucy, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Rosary will be held at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara on July 9, 2015, at 7 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Justin Church, 2655 Homestead Rd, Santa Clara on July 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr, Los Altos.
