Madeline Alexandria Borges passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. She was born to Joseph and Anna Vierra and raised in Mountain View alongside her brothers, Joseph (Beverly) and Albert (Marcia). She later became a longtime resident of Santa Clara.
Madeline was devoted to her husband, Irving Borges, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage before his passing. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Tina McBride (David) and Julie Rankin (John), and a devoted grandmother to Sydney, Olivia, and Peyton. She also had several nieces, nephews, and godchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., with viewing from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Boulevard, Santa Clara.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Clare Church, 941 Lexington Street, Santa Clara. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
