

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend passed away Wednesday April, 1st after a valiant battle with cancer. She touched so many lives with her joyous and generous spirit. Maggi was born Margret Ann Nolan in Mount Ayr, Iowa and moved to California in 1956. She worked and modeled in San Francisco until she married and moved to the San Jose area to raise her four children. She worked as an executive administrator until she retired in the early 1980s to devote her time to her children, grandchildren and women’s group. Her love of family, friends, travel, reading and music brought her great joy and fulfillment. Maggi is survived by the father of her four children Raymond J. Couture, her sister Marcia Cabebee, sons John (Deb) Couture and Thomas Couture; Daughters Mary (John) Roan and Kathleen (Ralph) Figueroa; Grandchildren Joseph Couture, Hayden, Jacob and Lillian Roan, and Violet Fiqueroa; Great Grandchildren Mya Couture. Maggi also leaves behind many very special friends that filled her life with so much support, peace and love. Last but not least is Maggi’s cat Willie (after Willie Nelson). She is preceded into heaven by her father John R. Nolan, mother Cora Nolan and late husband Merv Willoughby. Maggi has and always will be in our hearts as the most special and unique woman to touch our lives. Her smile, generous heart and beautiful spirit will be greatly missed and fondly cherished. Rest in Peace our mother, sister and friend. We were so blessed to have had you and we should all aspire to be like you! Maggi was and in our hearts will always be beautiful, unique and inspirational. Her smile and generous heart will be greatly missed. Rest in peace our mother, sister and friend. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Twin Lakes Church, 2701 Cabrillo College Dr, Aptos, CA 95003.
