Samantha and I miss you so much grandpa. This all happened so fast, and I wish you were still here. You'll always be on my mind, Papa. Love you so much.

I love you grandpa. Hurts to to hear you passed but you are resting in a better place. Look over your grandkids Prince and Miyah and me. Always in my heart.

We are going to miss the amazing man Sonny was. He always added life and laughter to every event.

Sonny, a man like no other!  From spartan little league, the school district, bowling leagues and the Moose Lodge, you did everything with that gruff sounding love!  You always had a smile for me when most others didn't.  Thank you for your smiles, laughter and love!  This is not good bye but just until we meet again!  Bless your soul and may your family find peace in knowing that you are home, with that crazy wife of yours, Darlene!  Forever missed but never forgotten~  Love and blessings! Hey my "namesake" !!! I will SO miss you! You brought SO much to whatever it was you were doing! Al still laughes when he talks about your CRAZY (drinking) camping trip. Now you and Darlene can giggle cause neither of you gave me the Rocky Road Candy Recipe!! LOL!!! Love you bunches.  "The OTHER Suni !!!

Maria, while I know you and Uncle Sonny didn't have much time together, you did have an amazing ride. It was apparent that you both loved each other very much.  I'm happy that he was able to spend his last few years being loved and having someone to love in return. I'm glad I was able to spend some time getting to know you when you both came to Hawaii on vacation. I'm praying for your comfort and support in this time of grief.

Uncle Sonny...the man who did everything in high volume.  He played, drove, cooked, ate, spoke, laughed, and most importantly...he LOVED in high volume!  The uncle who stepped in while our dad was in Vietnam.  He taught me how to swim, how to jet ski, how to lose my bathing suit on a high-speed water ride on a sled at Lake Camanche :)  And he always took the time to drive and visit me whenever I came home to California to visit family.  Uncle, you have the most generous heart and loved to do everything at full speed ahead.  I love the way you always spoke what was in your heart.

Mom and Aunt Tubby, how awesome to have a big brother like Uncle Sonny.  He would defend and protect you, get that huge smile every time he would see you and say "Hey Beautiful".  He was a genuine good guy who undeniably loved his sisters.  The three of you were so cute together...three little peas in a pod...a loud and rambunctious pod!

Manny and Kim, your dad left a wonderful legacy for the Caruso family.  He was all about family and if you knew one thing about him, it was how much he cared about people.  He bragged on his kids and knew you all could do anything you set your minds to.  He had the unconditional parental love that makes this world a better place for him having been in it.  You will always have him in your heart.  I pray you find peace and comfort in knowing he is out of pain and made new where he is now.  And we will all see each other again one day!

Uncle Sonny I love you.  I'm sad I didn't make it home to see you before you moved on, but I will see you again one day.  Thank you for being my godfather and for always making me feel special.  You are a giant of a man...may God Bless You and keep you in perfect peace.

I wish i would have gotten more time with this cool uncle of mine. I remember when i was a kid i really liking him. Now he has been around again, i always took to time to try and get to know him better. I will miss him! Love that guy.

Here's 2 shots and a huge hug to the coolest Uncle ever.  Me & Martin will miss you  terribly.  Never to hear you say niece (or my favorite "sweetie") or nephew brings much sadness.  You always made us and everyone around you laugh, you had an endless supply of humor.  There are so many things that made you special and we are so honored that we were able to call you Uncle.

To Kimmy & Manny - although you have lost the last of your best friends, please know a little part of your father still exists in each of us.  Your father was an extremely kind and generous soul and would do anything within his power for anyone needing help.  We all had so much fun growing up with Uncle and he will forever be in our hearts.  Much sympathy to you both and please know we love you both very much.
