He was born in San Diego, CA, on December 19, 1958, to Maria Hilda and the late Manuel Sousa. Jerry graduated from Buchser High School in 1978. Jerry was a kind and loving person. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Maria Hilda Sousa of Santa Clara, CA and his sister Lena Day also of Santa Clara, CA.
A Rosary will be held at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Boulevard, Santa Clara at 7 p.m. The viewing is also at Lima Family Mortuary, the same evening from 6 p.m.– 9 p.m. The funeral will take place at St. Justin Church, 2655 Homestead Rd., Santa Clara at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the burial immediately following at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara.
