Marian A Johnson

July 14, 1925 - January 3, 2017

Resident of Santa Clara

Marian entered into hospice on December 15, 2016 and passed peacefully on January 3rd, 2017 in Santa Clara, at the age of 91.

Born in Buffalo, New York to Steve and Mary Cino, the family moved to San Jose when Marian was very young, where she attended Burbank Elementary School and was a part of the first graduating class of Abraham Lincoln High School, the same school all her children attended and graduated. Married for over 40 years to Russell Johnson (deceased), they started a family where Marian became very involved in the lives of her three children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell and son Steve Merritt. Marian leaves behind her daughter Debbie Lantis (Jim) and son Russell (Rusty) Johnson (Rhonda), four grandchildren, Steve Johnson (Kristin), Sam Johnson, Lindsey Snider (Scott) and Jeff Lantis (Baharek) and four great-grandchildren, Sarah, Kaycee, Taylor and Samuel.

The family would like to thank all her friends she made over the many years of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be directed to St. Jude's Children Hospital or charity of their choice, in memory of Marian.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 20th, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara.
