Marie Schmidt passed away peacefully in her sleep early Monday morning. She was the co-owner of Frank's Lock Shop with her loving husband of 55 years. Marie is survived by her daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Marie was born and raised in New York City. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Schmidt. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 24, at St. Martin of Tours in San Jose. A viewing will start at 9:00 a.m. followed by a decade of the rosary at 9:55 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, St. Joseph's Mausoleum.
