I remember Mike from grammar school.  He was a real nice boy, always optomistic and a go getter.  I have very fond memories of him.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I was a friend of his from Blackford High School. He was a really nice guy! He went with me to a Saddie Hawkins dance one year (I asked him because I had a really big crush on him). I'm very sorry for your loss.

Mike and I moved to Tahoe right out of High School, when we didn't know anything about anything. He talked me into it and I am so thankful he did.  We became good friends and he was truly the most positive person I ever knew. You couldn't help but have fun just being around him.  His non-stop energy was contageous. Many memories of endless crazy fun times we had together. I will never forget them.  That's the kind of guy he was, which I will always remember.

McGuire Family, I too am truly saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I went to high school with Mike, and visited his house a number of times on Nadine Dr.  If he hadn't shared, he hosted some fun gatherings.  I second Scott's fond memories comment. My deepest sympathies.

Deepest sympathies to all of Mike's loved ones. I was very surprised to learn of his passing. He was a pleasure to work with and a nice and honest property manager; a rare find! He will be missed.

As I pondered Mike's passing, I couldn't help but remember a summer long ago in Lake Tahoe when we were driving in Mike's little white convertible VW bug coming back from a day at the beach.  My friend Leandro and I were in the back seat and Uncle Jim was in the passenger seat. It started to rain  and instead of pulling over and putting the top up, Mike deceided to listen to the advise of his Uncle who said "Drive faster, we'll try and out run it".  Like that really worked.  Soaked to the skin, I remember us laughing so hard all the way home.  That memory has stuck with me all these years. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mike was always very supportive. Knowing him through Western Property he "knew" the house we rented was "perfect" for my family. And the house loves us. Mike was the most positive person I have ever seen going through chemotherapy-a true inspiration. He is skiing up somewhere in Kirkwood Heaven. May you feel some comfort with the memories you have.

Mike and Matthew kept the cabin warm for us when it was snowing and cold last Christmas season.

Hwy. 88 was closed and we had been 10-12 hours on the road from the bay area to Kirkwood.

I was so glad to see Mike and Matthew snowed in and we were able to spend some time together.

McGuire family, I was saddened to learn of Michael's sudden passing. About four years ago, I saw Michael at a Giants game - actually he saw me, and waved me down.  We had a few minutes to chat and share what was going on in our lives. I wish we could have spent more time chatting, Michael made it very easy and comfortable, even though it had been years since we had spoken. It reminded me of the Christmas parties with the entire McGuire/Medeiros families.  Those are fond memories that I will cherish.
