Mickey Kaliterna passed away in Santa Clara, CA on September 30, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 93 years old. Born in Oakland, CA Mickey married Emma Fontana in 1942. Mickey served on the Santa Clara County Grand Jury and the Santa Clara Civil Service Commission. He was a life member of San Jose Elks Lodge #522. He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years Emma, daughter Danielle Kaliterna, grandson Michael Kaliterna, sister Gloria Fox and four nephews. Mickey is predeceased by his mother, Mary, his father, Vincent, and his brother, Vincent. Private burial services will be held at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. The memorial service will be hosted by the San Jose Elks Lodge #522 at 444 Alma Ave., San Jose, CA on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elks National Foundation.
