

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Cardoso Alves and Maria Augusta Ferreira; her beloved husband, Mario Rocha; and her nine siblings, Jose, Maria, Jenuina, Francisco, Lourdes, Rosa, Manuel, Alvarino, and Baby Natalina, for whom she was named.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Iseri (Miles); her son, Jose Rocha (Julie); and her four granddaughters, Lauren, Grace, Hailey, and Aubrey, who brought her immense joy and pride. Her love, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Natalina was born on October 24, 1939, in the village of Santa Barbara on the island of Terceira in the Azores, Portugal. She completed her education in Santa Barbara and was deeply involved in the Catholic community, where faith and tradition were central to daily life.
She met her husband, Mario Rocha, in Santa Barbara, and they were married on December 12, 1965. Natalina and Mario immigrated to California and settled in Santa Clara, where they built a new life together through hard work, sacrifice, and determination.
Throughout her life, Natalina remained deeply proud of her Portuguese heritage. She was an active member of the Society of the Holy Spirit, Our Lady of Fatima, and the Brotherhood of Saint Anthony at the S.E.S. Portuguese Hall in Santa Clara. Many weekends were spent traveling throughout Northern California, representing their organizations and celebrating the traditions she and Mario cherished.
Natalina leaves behind an enduring example of resilience, devotion, faith, and deep love for family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the traditions she so faithfully carried forward.
