Age 79, Phyllis passed away, on November 7th, after a 3 month illness. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, grew up in Portland, Oregon, and lived in Sunnyvale, since 1968. Phyllis is survived by her husband Morrison of 55 years, sons John and Steve, daughter Michele, nine grandchildren 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers and two sisters. Phyllis loved to tell jokes, from Reader#185;s Digest, to share with everyone: family, friends, and even the grocery store clerk to her hairdresser. She loved to knit and made many friends at the Sunnyvale Senior Center knitting class, while making hundreds of baby hats for newborns at Kaiser Hospital, in addition to knitting countless scarfs for friends, family, and the homeless. Phyllis, "Mom", will always be remembered for her calm spirit, resilience, strength, and unconditional love. Everyone was worthy of her love and care, putting others before her own needs. Phyllis was a very happy person and lived life to the fullest. Phyllis will be dearly missed but will live on with the love she instilled in everyone she crossed paths with. We love you mom.
