At the young age of 64 she passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Tuesday July 6, 2021, surrounded by loved ones after courageously battling cancer for 10 years.
Ramona accepted her illness gracefully and fought until the end, never losing hope. She kept a positive attitude through it all.
She is survived by her loving husband Gabriel Corona and his three daughters, Ari, Karla and Elaine. And loving sister to surviving siblings Pete, Armando (Rosie), Monica (Tony), Rachel (Twin)(Chris) and Martha (Alan). Predeceased by parents Loretta and Felipe Bravo, Ernie Guerra, Robert Rodriguez and Hector Rodriguez. Also leaves 12 nephews and 4 Nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Ramona was born in San Jose, and grew up in Santa Clara, CA. She attended High School in Sunnyvale, studied at Mission College. Worked at Kaiser Permanente, for over 26 years and retiring in 2019. After Ramona’s retirement they purchased a home in Manteca, CA and lived there, attended many social functions within her neighborhood clubhouse. Concerts, Dances, and special events. They both loved music and dance, good food, and spending time with family and friends.
Ramona married the love of her life in 2006, in Fremont, CA. Together they raised a beautiful family and recently celebrated the birth of their first Grandson.
Ramona had a huge heart and selflessness she volunteered throughout her life helping others and supported fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society. Ramona was a Women of Faith devout to Our Blessed Mother and the Lady of Fatima.
Ramona loved being with her nieces and nephews supporting their every event. She helped me with Lisa when I was not able to do so, due to my own illness. Forever grateful. She will be truly missed by all we love you Ramona
