Bob was the oldest child of Clarence P.A. Herman and Doris B. Chaffee. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Kirkham Herman of San Jose, his brother Douglas Herman and uncle Gordon Kenyon both of Lyndonville, NY, as well as 6 nephews 5 nieces, 1 grandnephew, 2 grandnieces, 2 great-grandnieces, and many cousins in NY. In CA. he is survived by step-children Joanne Kaeding, Suzanne Westphal, and John Zasada, 11 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great-grandchildren. He was a great dirt-track sprint car race fan. His family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Sat., Oct. 31 at 1PM at Blossom Valley Church, 6147 Purple Hills Dr., San Jose, CA.
