Robert Chacon Llamas

Robert passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021 at the age of 81 surrounded by loving family members. Robert was born March 30, 1941 in Morenci, Arizona, moved to California at an early age with his family of five brothers and three sisters. The family settled in Mountain View. Robert graduated from Mountain View High School "Class Of 58." He married his beautiful wife of 56 years Ernestina. They had two children Delores and Rene. Robert moved his family to Stockton, CA in the early 1980. Robert was an electrician. He helped establish and open New United Motor Manufacturing INC. (NUMMI) When the company opened in Fremont, he worked there from 1984 to 2010. He retired as an Electrician's Supervisor. Robert enjoyed taking long rides and stopping at Good Bar. He loved the surroundings, soaking up good vibes and conversations with the people. He was known for his good "one liners." What he loved most was spending time with his two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his brother and sister and beloved son Rene.

A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. A rosary service will occur Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
