Rob burrowed in our hearts and we will miss him always. Such great memories including the times at Lake Berryessa. When Rob's Dad spoke today, our hearts were broken and the unbearable loss was so evident. Yet, Rob Sr. helped us have insight into a deeper understanding and gave some peace.

Rob and Elaine, you did such a wonderful job in raising an amazing person, I could only think "the world needs more Rob's in this world" ~ thank you for sharing him with us, he will live on in our hearts.

Your Dad and I helped coach you and Matt and then our families entwined again when Ryan married Angie. You were all grown into a fine young man and every time we saw each other we had "gearhead" conversations of which I always enjoyed. I will miss you and those talks until we see each other again. Rob was one of my neighbors during the golden age of Oak Rim Way as we call it. We had a great community and as a community we shared BBQ's, laughs, several births and even one very close call with a bear. Now, Rob is the first one to leave us. Gone way too soon but not forgotten. Thank you for being a friend. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. RIP Rob.

Though it has been many years since he was in my class, I will always remember his smile and charming personality. He brings fond memories of my first years of teaching. I am sorry for your family's loss...

I was blessed to have known Robbie. He always treated me with respect and kindness.  I enjoyed his companionship on our bowling team with his dad and will always remember how he improved dramatically year after year.  I had the pleasure to play golf with him too and will always remember our trips to Carson City for our annual bowling and golf outings.  He will be missed.  My heart and condolences go out to the entire Rohrig family.  This leaves such a hole and one that I hope I never have to endure.  Robbie, rest in peace my young friend!  Clyde.

I knew Robbie from birth as a neighbor.   I especially enjoyed him visiting me in the garage/shop.  He called me Big Roger.  He wanted to know what Susie and Roger were doing but especially Roger.  He and Roger Keith liked thinking of things to do to Lucy and Socks, our two cats. Robbie also found my machinery interesting.  When he was older I liked helping him and his dad with his Mustang, Camaro and Honda.  He was always a pleasure to have around.  I also remember him playing the saxophone.  At first it was like fog horn.  Then he became much better.  He will always have a special place in my heart.

Our thoughts and Prayers are with our family members In this time of Great Sorrow, We can only lift each other up in Prayer. We have all been touched by Robbie, and we will truly miss him. He was so loved by us all. May you Rest in Peace my dear cousin. Till we meet again. Say Hello to all of those who have gone before you.

It was an  honor and privilege to call you my friend and my 2nd big brother.  You were the epitome of a phenomenal man:  thoughtful, kind, polite, helpful, honest, loving, fun and loyal.  Characteristics that others strive towards for a lifetime but for you they came naturally.  You knew how to lift others up and make others around you feel good. You were a real friend, a friend that I could rely on and someone I could trust.

On Tuesday, you told me "Trump will be in on the voting ballot with Hillary Clinton", on Wednesday, you showed me the medicated oil you got at acupuncture clinic, and on Thursday we greeted each other in the office then you disappeared forever! I miss you. I miss our conversation in investments, in bitcoin, in presidential election, in the book "Death by China", in your drone and all other daily business. However, I am at peace to know that you are no longer in pain. Rest in Peace, Rob.

Dear Rohrig Family,
I am incredibly sorry for your loss and hope that you can keep pleasant thoughts in your hearts and minds. I just wanted to briefly inform you of a story that I think shows Robbie's true character. I always looked up to Robbie, he was a few years older than me, he was cooler than I was and he was smart. Our interactions were always spent with a slight uneasiness found in someone who desperately wants to impress the other. So I always tried to say the right thing when I was around him. There was a time when both Robbie and I were home sick from school. I was lucky enough to come over to your house and play the brand new Super Nintendo with Robbie. I was very excited, I sat as patiently as I could watching and listening to Robbie explain the game to me. He had a really good run and got further along than he had previously been. He was playing a new level and it was difficult, and he was down to his last free man, I asked if I could take a turn. He generously let me play for him. Unfortunately I got the helicopter shot down almost instantly and the dreaded Game Over screen showed up on the TV. I thought oh I have blown it for sure, I ruined his game. However Robbie turned to me and said, "Not so easy is it? Lets give it another go and see if we can get further!" I was so grateful that he didn't look down on me or take the opportunity to show I wasn't allowed to play, in fact it had been me holding my self back the whole time. All I had to do was ask for a turn and I would have generously gotten one. This is what I will think about when I think about Robbie. I am truly sorry for your loss but I thought a small story that perhaps was unknown should be told.

I've known Robbie since the age of 1. We were Auntie Lanes first day care kids and Robbie treated us like we were his sisters!! Playing tricks on me, making me laugh, helping me out. I have so many memories of growing up with him. I haven't seen him in years but have kept in connect all these years with Angie and Auntie Lane. Robbie will be missed by many that were given the pleasure of meeting him. My prayers and love go out to Auntie Lane, Rob, Angie and Jenny and the rest of the Rohrig family. May God watch over you all!

We all miss you in the fire department family. You took care of us in more ways than you will ever know. Your gentle kind soul and big smile were always refreshing. Sorry to see you go. I will miss seeing you at the gym and the car shows. RIP.

Rob was the man..  he came by the station to save our butts so many times to fix our issues .. Loved the guy , always stayed for lunch or dinner because he work late to accommodate us . Great person , great friend , he will truly be missed

Robbie was a wonderful human being that made the world a better place for everyone he came in contact with.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

I knew Rob for seven years. He was always very respectful to others and was very pleasant to be around. He loved snow boarding . We went to Kirkwood together in 2014. Rob was quick to grasp new ideas. He liked new technology and dabbled in bitcoin. Rob had a passion for drones and could talk for hours about the industry and it's potential. I learned a lot from him. Rob was a very deep thinker and was extremely intelligent. Many fun and interesting times. I will definitely miss our conversations. RIP ROb , you are an unforgettable individual

Robbie was a great friend and neighbor.  We knew him from the day he was born.  He always had a smile and something nice to say to everyone.  He made our lives better by his cheerfulness and interest in everything.  He was a very cute baby and even more handsome young man.  Oh, we will miss him so much.  He was always ready to help a friend, just a great guy.
